.
1. Projects
----------------------
You are my design system assistant for [Client Name].
Context: I'm the UX lead on this account. The team ships with
[framework] and our tokens follow a 3-tier DTCG structure.
Standing rules for every response:
1. Check the uploaded design system doc before proposing anything new
2. Flag it explicitly if my request conflicts with an existing token
or component, and name the conflict
3. Return token names, never raw hex values
4. If I ask for a new component, tell me first whether an existing
one can be composed to do the same job
Tone: direct. No opening pleasantries. No "Great question".
----------------------
2. Artifacts
----------------------
Build me a working web app: a WCAG contrast auditor for a token set.
- Let me paste a JSON object of color tokens
- Compute contrast for every foreground/background pair
- Show a matrix: rows = text tokens, columns = surface tokens
- Each cell shows the ratio and AA / AAA pass state at 14px and 18px
- Failing cells are clickable and suggest the nearest passing shade
- Add an "export failing pairs as CSV" button
Design: light, minimal, generous whitespace, monospace for numbers.
Pass/fail state must be readable at a glance without reading numbers.
----------------------
3. Extended Thinking
----------------------
I'm deciding between two options. Think this through fully before
you answer.
Option A: [option A]
Option B: [option B]
My situation: [context, constraints, what matters most]
My deadline: [when I must decide]
Work through:
- Second and third-order consequences of each path
- What I'm overweighting emotionally, and what I'm underweighting
- What information I'm missing that would flip the decision
- Which option has better downside protection if things go wrong
- What the reversible version of each option looks like
Then commit to a recommendation. Don't hedge.
----------------------
4. Memory
----------------------
Remember the following so I never repeat it:
Role: [role] at [company]. Current focus: [project].
My audience: [who they are].
Communication style I want: [direct / detailed / casual].
Things I don't want: [long intros, excessive caveats, filler].
Recurring formats I use: [e.g. always give me the token name].
Apply this in every conversation unless I override it.
----------------------
5. Claude in Chrome
----------------------
I'm on this listings page.
Extract from every visible item: title, company, price or salary
range if shown, location, and the top 3 requirements.
Then click through every remaining page and keep collecting until
there are no more results.
Output a single comparison table sorted by price descending, and
flag any row where a required skill is missing from this list:
[skill 1], [skill 2], [skill 3].
----------------------
6. Role prompting
----------------------
You are a brutally honest mentor. You've built and failed at multiple
companies and watched a hundred people make the same mistakes with
complete confidence.
Your job is not to encourage me. It's to protect me from my blind
spots before I spend money I can't get back.
Rules:
- Disagree when you think I'm wrong, and be specific about why
- Name what I'm avoiding because I want my plan to work
- Ask the hard questions I haven't asked myself
- If it's a bad idea, say so. No "on the other hand"
- End with the single most important thing to resolve before I move
Here's the idea. Do not be kind about it: [idea]
----------------------
7. Scheduled Tasks (Cowork)
----------------------
Every weekday at 7:30am:
1. Search for news from the last 24 hours in AI tooling, design
systems, and frontend
2. Pick the 5 most consequential. Prioritize anything surprising or
with direct implications for practitioners. Skip funding rounds
unless the product changes
3. For each: headline, 2-sentence summary, why it matters to me
specifically, and one link
4. Save as "brief-[YYYY-MM-DD].md" in my /briefs folder
Direct and analytical. No fluff. Readable in 3 minutes.
----------------------
8. Skills
----------------------
Create a reusable skill for my design system audits.
The skill should trigger whenever I ask to audit, review, or check a
component or a token set.
Its workflow:
1. Read the token source files and the component in question
2. Check for hardcoded values that should be tokens
3. Check accessibility: contrast, focus states, target size, ARIA
4. Check naming against our convention: category.property.variant
5. Output a table: file, line, issue, severity, suggested fix
Write the SKILL.md with a description precise enough that it fires on
audit requests but not on general code questions.
----------------------
9. CLAUDE.md และงานไฟล์
----------------------
# Project: [Project Name]
## About
Design system for [product]. Users are internal product teams.
Tokens follow DTCG. Components built on shadcn/ui.
## Naming rules
- Tokens: category.property.variant (color.bg.subtle)
- No raw hex in components. Tokens only.
- Components PascalCase, utilities camelCase
## Writing rules
- Short paragraphs, max 3 sentences
- No em dashes
- Numbers beat adjectives: "cuts 3 clicks" not "improves usability"
## Definition of done
- Passes the a11y audit skill
- Has a usage doc in /docs with a do and a don't example
- No new token introduced without a comment explaining why
----------------------
10. Claude Code
----------------------
Audit every component in /components for accessibility.
For each issue: file, line, the WCAG criterion violated, and the fix.
Then apply the fixes and run the test suite. If a test breaks, fix it
and run again until everything passes.
Constraints:
- Don't refactor anything unrelated to accessibility
- Don't add dependencies
- Don't change public props without telling me first
When done, give me a summary grouped by criterion, and a list of
anything you chose not to fix and why.
----------------------
11. Claude Design
----------------------
Create a one-page deck slide for a design system proposal.
Audience: engineering leads who think this is overhead.
Goal: get budget approval for one quarter of work.
Content to include:
- The cost of the current state in concrete numbers: [numbers]
- What we ship in 12 weeks
- What stops being a problem afterward
- What we are explicitly not doing
Style: restrained, high contrast, one accent color, plenty of white
space, no stock illustration. Numbers should be the largest elements
on the slide.
----------------------
12. Prompt Caching
----------------------
{
"model": "claude-sonnet-5",
"system": [
{
"type": "text",
"text": "[your design system doc or large reference context]",
"cache_control": {"type": "ephemeral"}
}
],
"messages": [
{ "role": "user", "content": "[user message, changes each call]" }
]
}
----------------------
