> This file is written for AI tools to read every time they generate work — not for humans to be persuaded by.
> Measure its success by whether AI output improves, not by whether it reads nicely.
## Research synthesis (findings = constraints)
- Users work in the product for hours, making multi-variable decisions → prefer denser screens that keep more information in view.
- Users abandon setup when asked for information they don't have on hand → don't force every field into a single step.
- <add your finding, phrased as a sentence the AI can use to steer generation>
## Interaction standards
- Confirm only destructive actions; make everything else undoable.
- Word errors so they explain how to fix, not with codes.
- Optimize for expert users (keyboard shortcuts, bulk actions).
- Every async action must show a loading state.
## Glossary (words your users actually use)
- "case" = the unit of work users manage (never say "ticket" — it confuses them)
- <term> = <definition> (do not use: <word the AI tends to default to>)
## User models
- Expertise: <novice / expert / mixed>
- Primary concern: <e.g. afraid of losing customer data>
- Goal: <what they're trying to accomplish>
- What doesn't work for them: <constraint>
## World models (context of use)
- Environment: <e.g. frequently interrupted / phone in sunlight / noisy>
- Emotional state: <e.g. stressed, in a hurry>
- Compliance: <e.g. every action must leave an audit trail>
## Banned / Forbidden (shortest section, most important)
- No <pattern the AI tends to reach for that's wrong for this product>
- No gradients / glassmorphism (unless on-brand)
- No em dashes in UI copy
